Kelly Rychkun

My name is Kelly. I have long had a passion for nature, and, specifically the medium wood.

I have many hidden secrets that I was forced to keep as a child which turned my thoughts into a place of pure imagination. I would often hide in the forest next to my home to draw or paint to escape and allow my imagination to take me to a different place. Knights in shining armour coming to the rescue....going for a ride on magic horses with wings that would take me away to be happy ever after.

My solitude though, blessed me with something special. I now have such a passion for nature and creation!

I can't say enough about the furniture she makes, and I've seen pictures of other pieces. The next time you want a custom piece made get in touch with Kelly first! I asked Kelly to make me a wood bench and hat shelf/coat rack for my entry way. She's not one to build anything that can be bought in any store, she asks a lot of questions and gets a feeling for the person and their passions and creates beautiful works of art for each piece and customer! The wood bench was made from reclaimed wood from a wooden fishing boat "Spartacus" built in 1912. Lots of history and being that the wood is tied to the marine environment, fishing, boating, etc., then it was a perfect fit for what my passions are! Kelly also made me a charcuterie board using a wood burl and inlaid a glass piece that contained some old fish hooks,flies, and lead line weights and surrounded the glass with sand and pebbles from Halfmoon Bay where I have a family cabin and many many memories!"
